We have a great opportunity for a Financial Year End Accountant to join a fast paced and busy Finance Department based in West London. This is an interim role for approximately 3-6 months, with an immediate start. A professional, experienced Year End Accountant is needed to cover this broad role, you will need to hit the ground running and offer support across the finance team during this busy period. A hybrid working pattern is available along with a competitive day rate on offer.
Responsibilities:
*Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the Group’s annual financial statement audit
*Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual items related to the group and its subsidiaries
*Preparation of the Group consolidation file
*Liaise and delivery of all audit deliverables requested by the audit teams
*Responding to all additional audit requests & queries
*Managing & coordinating responses from Finance team members and the wider business
*Preparation / review of the Group and Subsidiary financial statements
*Minimising the number of audit journals and management letter points
*Manage the production of subsidiary Statutory Accounts for all legal entities
Requirements:
*Preferably an ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with an audit background or Part Qualified with the relevant experience
*Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with an international group structure preferred
*Good technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting
*Excellent communication skills are a must
*A self-starter who is conscientious & hard working
*Advanced IT skills including strong Excel skills
