Job Description:
Early Years Teacher *Job Type: Temporary (up to 6 weeks)
*Location: North west Manchester
*Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
*Start Date: ASAP
*Hourly rate is negotiable (£30+)
We are currently seeking an Early Years Teacher to join our team at Worsley College. This role involves teaching Level 1 and Level 2 Early Years courses, as well as T Level Early Years. The position is to cover sickness absence and is expected to last for up to 6 weeks.
Day-to-day of the role: *Deliver engaging and educational lessons to students studying Level 1, Level 2, and T Level Early Years.
*Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that adhere to curriculum standards.
*Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide timely feedback.
*Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching methods and student learning experiences.
*Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Must possess a PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent teaching qualification.
*At least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years education.
*Proven experience in teaching Early Years or related subjects.
*Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students.
*Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
