Commercial Finance Manager, FMCG Start-Up, London, £70-80k + Bonus
Are you a Commercial Finance specialist and looking to join a high-growth, dynamic start-up in the FMCG sector?
I am working with an award-winning drinks business, looking to take on a Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting to and working directly with the Founder, a hugely passionate who is highly regarded in the sector.
This hugely successful start-up has the backing from one of the top drinks corporations in the world.
You will need to get fully involved in managing business performance - supporting all commercial and operational decisions with accurate financial analysis, planning, forecasts and cash flows. There will be no financial reporting and month end duties with this position!
Key responsibilities:
*Sales & Marketing Business Partnering: Be the go-to financial advisor for sales and marketing teams, delivering sharp, data-driven insights to boost regional performance. Evaluate pricing strategies, commercial agreements, budgets, forecasts, and ROI to pinpoint areas for improvement.
*Financial Analysis & Reporting: Generate comprehensive monthly management accounts and variance analyses, complete with meaningful commentary. Track and report KPIs to keep performance in check.
*Pricing & Profitability: Analyse product pricing strategies and monitor profitability across products, channels, and regions, uncovering opportunities to drive higher profits.
*Cost Management: Dive deep into cost drivers and launch initiatives to maximise resource efficiency, especially in sales and marketing operations.
*Financial Modelling: Build and refine financial models that power forecasting, budgeting, and strategic investment decisions. Evaluate the potential of new business ventures and marketing campaigns with precision.
Essential skills:
*Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Drinks industry experience
