Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Kettering
Salary: £28,000
Henderson Brown is working exclusively with our ambitious client to support their search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their expanding Finance team in Kettering. This is a unique opportunity to become part of an exciting new venture. In this newly created role, reporting to the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, processing invoices, and supporting the smooth running of the purchase ledger function.

Key Responsibilities:
* Process invoices, expenses, and payments with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Verify supplier invoices, manage reconciliations, and handle any discrepancies.
* Prepare weekly supplier payment runs and maintain accurate financial records.
* Support budget owners in tracking and analysing spending.
* Drive process improvements within the purchase ledger function.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable.
* Familiarity with VAT, purchase order.
* Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
* Detail-oriented, organised, and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
