Internal Sales Executive Based either Middlesbrough or Consett

We pride ourselves on our quality products and the high levels of customer service that our friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced team of experts can offer; Due to growth we require a dynamic individual to join our respected sales team covering internal sales based at either our Consett or Middlesbrough site.
All About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a driven, passionate Internal Sales Executive to help maintain and further develop a strong portfolio of customers, building long term mutually beneficial relationships.
Specific tasks include:
*Handling sales calls and creating quotations
*Sourcing new sales opportunities and developing existing customer base, within the constraints of operational capacity, that seek to secure profitable new market share and gross margin growth.
*Build partnering relationships to understand customer needs and requirements.
*Develop relationships with key accounts so that clear communication lines are open.
*Help to develop new business, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
*Raising Sales Orders, check stock availability and amending/agreeing quotations.
*Personally, lead negotiations with potential customers and through regular meetings, build relationships to maximise commercial opportunities with them.
*Be an ambassador for high customer service standards that seek to build customer retention levels.
*Process sales enquiries / orders and see all administration through to completion, ensuring excellent levels of customer service.

Essential Skills for the role:
*Previous sales experience within a B2B sales environment – ideally steel or related industry
*Proven record of building up accounts and delivering results/achieving targets & KPI’s.
*Builds strong relationships quickly, has a proactive attitude & approach.
*Can drive & has a full UK driving licence
*Looking for a rewarding sales career with a respected employer.
