Job Description:
I am currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join my clients finance team in Central Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to progress their career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
* Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making
* Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
* Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
* Maintain and develop financial systems and processes to improve efficiency
* Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support
* Perform ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required
Requirements:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
* Excellent Excel skills; experience with financial software is a plus
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and develop
