Overview
*A leading global bank is searching for a Data Analyst to join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing control processes in trade booking
*You will support preventative booking controls and ensure adherence to key business mandates, safeguarding the integrity of trade and legal requirements.
*Key words: Front Office, Python, Data visualisation, Data Analysis, Excel, Analytics
Details:
*Day rate: £800-825/day - Inside IR35 through an umbrella company
*Start date: ASAP
*Duration: end date 30/06/2025 (likely to be extended)
*Hybrid working - 3 days/week in the office
Key Responsibilities of a Data Analyst:
*Define business requirements for reporting and metrics to maintain control processes.
*Provide quality assurance and oversight through data analysis.
*Collaborate with business and technology teams to review and resolve defects.
*Produce procedural guides for daily reporting and data analysis.
*Generate management information reports to showcase control performance.
*Partner with audit and control groups to address control failures and enhance processes.
Requirements for a Data Analyst:
*Proficiency in data analysis (Python, Tableau, or similar visualization tools).
*Experience in control-focused change management and technology collaboration.
*Strong analytical skills with a focus on controls, along with excellent communication skills.
*Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
*Background in business management, front-office control functions, or related change functions.
*Familiarity with markets products.
