Job Description:
Job Title: HR Assistant
Location: Bury
Contract Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 4 months
Working Pattern: Full Time
Salary: £13.69 - £14.91
Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with the HR team to carry out various HR and Payroll tasks
*Process transactions, including creating positions in the HR/Payroll system
*Manage employee transfers under TUPE
*Produce variation of contract documents
*Verify payroll accuracy
*Assist with other processing work and mini projects during quieter periods
*Follow established processes while using initiative to manage workload effectively
*Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
*Previous experience working in a similar HR environment
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
*Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team
*Excellent time management and organisational skills
*Proactive approach with the ability to use own initiative
*Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
*Knowledge of HR and Payroll systems
*Familiarity with TUPE regulations and processes
*Experience in managing restructures
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technologies:
Proficiency in HR/Payroll software
