Finance Officer - Accounts Payable
Salary: £28,998 with London Weighting
Contract: until Feb 2025

We are seeking a Finance Officer - Accounts Payable to join our client, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Key Responsibilities: *Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner, including managing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
*Provide support for accounts receivable tasks as needed, ensuring a seamless financial process across both functions.
*Maintain and oversee expenses ledgers and purchase ordering systems to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
*Assist in producing monthly and quarterly reports for the finance department, supporting the overall financial objectives of the organisation.
Experience and Skills: *Previous experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
*Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to manage financial data with precision.
*Experience working with expenses ledgers and purchase ordering systems is highly desirable.
*AAT qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
Qualifications & Competencies: *Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a busy finance environment.
*Strong attention to detail with an ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
