Job Description:
We are a team of trusted advisors to senior management; technology, risk and compliance teams; legal, commercial and deal teams; clients and auditors, who need to understand cybersecurity risk for their business, their technology and their clients. The team provides executive engagement, business support, cyber due diligence, regulatory compliance and cyber awareness.

What role will you play?

As a trusted advisor you will be analysing regulatory requirements. You will also be driving compliance and support audit activities, compiling management information and reports for senior leadership. As well as this, you will advise on cybersecurity contractual terms, and respond to client requests. As part of your role, you will assess cyber risks of new products and services, and review risk acceptances, as well as assist deal team teams during investments, mergers, and acquisitions.

*Demonstrable experience in a cybersecurity advisory role and in a regulated industry (financial services an advantage)
*Strong knowledge of the common information security frameworks (e.g. NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO27001, CIS), secure application development and industry standard frameworks (NIST, COBIT, ISO27001, threat modelling frameworks) is essential to deliver project lifecycle support
*Good understanding of the security capabilities of the main cloud platforms
*Familiarity and exposure to assessing compliance to regulatory obligations and practised in interacting with regulators and auditors. Appetite to take on a regulated role in the future
*Strong analytical and verbal reasoning skills, with excellent attention to detail
*Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate cybersecurity issues and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and present information in high quality PowerPoint presentations and written board papers in a concise way tailored to the audience.
