Office Administrator
Long Stratton, Norfolk
£13.00 per hour
Permanent
9:00am to 5:00pm
We are recruiting an experienced Office Administrator to join our client based in Long Stratton, Norfolk.
If you’re looking for an administrative role with dynamic, day-to-day variety, this could be a great fit. In this position, you’ll handle key responsibilities (outlined below) while also having the chance to gain insight into other areas of the business, particularly when covering for colleagues on holiday. This setup provides an excellent opportunity to expand your skillset and contribute across the organisation.
Responsibilities
*Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
*Handle incoming calls with professionalism, providing excellent phone etiquette
*Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Sage and maintain financial records
*Organise and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
*Prepare documents and reports
*Maintain filing systems both electronically and physically to ensure easy retrieval of information
*Support team members with clerical duties as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment
Experience
*Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred
*Familiarity with Sage or similar accounting software is advantageous
*Strong typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Holiday entitlement is 28 days a year, including bank holidays. You will be required to use annual leave for Christmas shutdown each year.
