Reed Education/The Lancashire Teaching Agency are looking for a dedicated Teacher for a Year 4 class in a primary school in Darwen.
This is a temporary role which commences from January 2025 for 5 days per week and might end up becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Delivering engaging and effective teaching to KS1 and 2 pupils, in line with the national curriculum.
*Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to ensure pupil progression.
*Creating a nurturing and inspiring classroom environment.
*Monitoring and supporting the social and emotional development of pupils.
*Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the educational experience of the children.
*Communicating with parents and carers to provide updates on pupil progress and development.
*Participating in school events and contributing to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching across the KS1 and 2 is essential.
*Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum and teaching methods.
*Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
*A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
*Ability to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents.
