Job Description:
In this essential role as a Payroll Advisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all payroll duties for a large Not For Profit organisation based in Liverpool, ensuring all finance and accounting tasks are conducted efficiently and accurately.

Description
*Oversee all payroll duties within the organisation
*Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
*Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
*Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
*Coordinate with the HR department to verify total hours worked for each employee
*Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
*Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures
*Perform other duties as assigned
Profile
A successful Payroll Advisor should have:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
*A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
*An ability to handle confidential information
*Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English
*A high degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic
*Strong computer skills and expertise with payroll software
