Clark Wood are partnering with a reputable and forward-thinking firm of accountants based in Newport, South Wales who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their growing payroll team.
Our client are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process for our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about payroll and looking to advance their career in a supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Maintain payroll records and manage employee data updates.
Calculate salaries, deductions, and bonuses, ensuring compliance with tax and employment laws.
Respond to payroll-related queries from clients and employees.
Assist with year-end payroll processes, including P60s and P11Ds.
Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in payroll bureau or accountancy practice.
