About the School Our school caters to pupils aged 11-19 with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student is valued and supported to achieve their full potential. The school operates across three sites, each tailored to meet the specific needs of our pupils, including those who can access mainstream education.
Day-to-day of the role: *Develop and deliver tailored learning plans to meet the individual needs of pupils.
*Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to support pupil development.
*Address any behavioural issues in a nurturing and constructive manner.
*Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Experience working with SEN in a similar role or a transferable role.
*Confidence and a proactive approach to going above and beyond for our pupils.
*A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
