Child Support Worker- Liverpool
Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Child Suppor Worker to join one of our SEN schools across Liverpool. This is a long-term or short-term role starting as soon as possible!
You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic enviornement for those with additional needs. The needs of the children range from complex needs, physical disabilities, autism, learning difficulties, behavioural challenges and hearing/visual impairments.
This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
*Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
*Support the pupil consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
*Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
*Deliver catch-up sessions
Essential Qualifications:
*Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
*Must have a passion for education
*Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
*Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
*Must have experience using Personal Care
