Our client has a unique opportunity to join their team as a Quality Assurance & Food Safety Lead within the Food Manufacturing industry, where you will cover and provide the overview and support for our 3 different units in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
*To complete HACCP Inspection, Health & Safety Inspections, Environmental Inspections
*Support the local unit with any QHSE requirements
*Updating risk assessments
*Coach and develop the staff in the Unit
*Interact with customers and colleagues
*Adhere to safety measures & complete supplier audits and reviews
*Review findings with the management team & create action plans
*Coordinate and manage the customer audits
*Any other duties as requested by your manager.
Skills and Knowledge:
*Minimum 2+ years of experience in QHSE management and food safety, within catering
*Affiliation to a suitable professional body
*Drivers license and be able to travel to other sites
*Minimum of a Diploma in Food Hygiene
*Experience of strengthening ISO certifications
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to build relationships with customers
*Good analytical skills
*Excellent Excel skills and experience
*Pro-active approach and can-do attitude
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Ability to deliver to strict deadlines
