Job Description:
Quality Control Assistant *Annual Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
*Location: Ross-on-Wye
*Job Type: Full-time
As a Quality Control Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of quality control and assurance for all products produced within the factory.
Day-to-day of the role: *Ensure all customer requirements are met, adhering to the company’s ’Zero Defects, Remember Why’ ethos.
*Work closely with the Quality Control Manager to inspect and report on products produced during daily production.
*Provide feedback, support, and training to Assemblers across various products.
*Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001 standards within the quality system.
*Support the overall improvement of processes through internal quality systems.
*Contribute to the development of production documentation.
*Analyse, report, and maintain control of the Non-Conformance Reporting processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Previous experience in electromechanical manufacturing.
*Current experience in quality control within a factory environment.
*Proficiency in soldering standards of IPC 610 and understanding of IPC 620.
*Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and re-work.
*Must hold a British Passport.
