Job Description:
Our client is a global freight forwarding and Logistics company specialising in air freight, sea freight, road freight and contract logistics.
We are now recruiting for a Sea Freight Imports Coordinator based in Wythenshawe
Key responsibilities
· Coordinate and manage ocean import shipments
· Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, negotiate rates, and handle all necessary documentation.
· Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation.
· Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.
· Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.
· Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Experience needed
· Experience of working within Ocean freight forwarding imports
· Knowledge of import procedures
· Customs regulations including national and international shipping documentation.
· CDS, Cargo wise and ASM Sequoia experience
· You will have the ability to effectively build excellent working relationships and show the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
