Right Now Group are working with an International Freight Forwarder who are looking to bring aboard a new Route Development Manager to enhance the trade route between the UK and the Middle East. The role will entail driving profitability within the trade route, alongside building strong lasting relationships with Customers and Partners.

Responsibilities of a Route Development Manager:
*Accountable for the profitable growth of the trade route between UK and the Middle East.
*Develop and input strategies to improve the profitability via Air & Sea.
*Drive volume growth and new business opportunities.
*Work alongside Key Account Management teams and Sales Teams to boost efficiency
*Develop and maintain joint pipeline with key partners working in a collaborative way to mutually develop new business opportunities.
*Collaborate and work closely with Trade and Pricing teams, exchanging market intelligence make sure the rates are competitive.
*Collaborate with commercial teams in order to create marketing materials to promote assigned trade lanes

Requirements of a Route Development Manager:
*5-10 years in Freight Forwarding
*An Understanding of trade routes to the Middle East and India.
*Experience managing Operations and Sales within Air and Sea Freight
*An opportunistic mindset with a drive and passion.
*Attention to detail
*Excellent written and verbal communication
Salary: up to £40,000
Location: Birmingham
Shift: Mon-Fri (8.30am-5.30pm)
