An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm with offices in and around Swindon. They are a full-service law firm that are seeking a Solicitor with a good understanding of the market to the ability to take on an existing varied caseload whilst also undertaking business development.
Duties will include:
*Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
*Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and corporate governance documents.
*Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management matters.
*Conduct legal due diligence and prepare related documentation.
*Stay up-to-date with changes in corporate law and regulatory developments.
*Collaborate with internal teams on transactions.
*Active involvement within business development
Desired Skills and Experience:
*Corporate fee earning experience essential 1-5 years PQE.
*Have very high level of technical competence
*Marketing and business development skills
*Proven track record of meeting targets
*Have strong interpersonal skills
*Sound legal knowledge within the processes
