Over many years they have grown steadily in a safe and extremely profitable manner.
The compliance team consists of a Head of Legal (GC) and Compliance, a UK Compliance Manager and a Compliance junior.
The Compliance Manager will be going on maternity leave this December or early January, so an opportunity has arisen to join just before she goes and then continue for 12 months. Probably start date could be in early to mid December.
The Role
*Assist with the FCA Filings
*Maintain and update Compliance manual
*Initial and Ongoing KYC
*Compliance Monitoring and Testing
*Preparation for Audits
*Organising staff (including new joiners) training for compliance
*Day to day running of the compliance department
The Candidate
*At least 8 years UK Generalist Compliance experience in a Buy Side firm (Alternatives, PE, Credit, Hedge Fund, Investment Management). This is essential.
*A legal qualification is a huge bonus
*Have the right attitude to work
*Be able to read the room
This role is 4 days working in the office and 1 working from home.
There can be no visa sponsorship
Last 8 years of compliance experience are to be from within the UK
