Job Title: Company Accountant / Finance Manager
Location: Norwich (Office-based)
Salary: Up to £50,000
Our client is a growing business, seeking an experienced Company Accountant / Finance Manager to take ownership of its financial operations. This position is suited for a versatile finance professional who can oversee daily financial processes, support decision-making with meaningful insights, and contribute to the business’s growth trajectory. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in both day-to-day accounting and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage monthly financial reporting, including preparation of Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
*Track key performance indicators and prepare relevant financial reports for management.
*Develop cash flow forecasts to help ensure financial stability.
*Act as the primary contact for external audits, ensuring timely and accurate audit processes.
*Handle VAT returns, invoicing, and supplier payments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
*Oversee payroll processing in coordination with an outsourced provider.
*Reconcile revenue and ensure accurate financial records.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in a broad accounting role, with skills in cash flow forecasting and VAT returns. You will have the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and contribute to process improvements. Experience in a small or owner-managed business environment is advantageous.
