Job Description:
Are you an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor (3-6 years PQE) ready to take on new challenges? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join a city fringe ten partner firm. Join their growing Dispute Resolution team. In this role, you will work alongside a team of property litigation specialists and receive direct referrals from various departments, including Conveyancing, Probate, and Family Law.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and manage all property litigation and dispute resolution work.
*Efficiently handle all allocated casework, ensuring high standards and timely completion.
*Maintain regular, clear communication with clients, adhering to client care requirements.
*Stay updated on legal developments, with a particular focus on property litigation.
*Promptly record and bill casework, ensuring accurate payment tracking at case conclusion.
*Manage routine correspondence, negotiations, and advocacy as required.
*Collaborate closely with colleagues in other departments to offer integrated services.
*Analyze legal matters and provide clients with informed advice on appropriate courses of action.
*Support the department’s operational efficiency by following office procedures, managing casework, and maintaining accurate billing.
*Provide supervision as needed and report to supervisors as required.
Required Skills & Experience
*3-6 years of post-qualification experience in property litigation.
*Comprehensive knowledge of property litigation, including landlord possession cases, disrepair and tenancy disputes, leasehold matters, and more.
*Advocacy experience in county court or tribunal is advantageous but not essential.
*Proven experience working with private clients and SMEs.
*Excellent client communication skills and a commitment to client care.
*Proven business development skills with a strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
*Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
*Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and demonstrate problem-solving capabilities.
*High level of IT proficiency and commercial awareness.
*Current Practising Certificate.
