Job Title: Business Manager
Salary: £39,186 - £42,403 per annum
Hours: Full Time - 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Start Date: 1st January 2025 (or negotiable)
Location: Wrexham - Secondary School
One of our large secondary schools is seeking a passionate and driven Business Manager to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the school’s strategic goals and contributing to a positive learning environment for our students and staff.
Role Summary:
The Business Manager will play a crucial role in the school’s operational management, working closely with senior leadership to oversee all financial, human resources, and administrative functions. You will lead a team of support staff and ensure the efficient use of resources, enabling the school to deliver high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the school’s financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure effective use of resources
*Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, and staff development
*Lead the school’s administrative, facilities, and IT teams to support smooth daily operations
*Develop and implement strategic plans to support the school’s long-term vision
*Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection policies
*Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including parents, governors, and external partners
Who We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience in a business management role, preferably within an educational setting
*Strong financial and HR management skills
*Excellent leadership and communication skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all students and staff
