Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 DOE

A leading firm of accountants in Retford is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with a background in accountancy practice to take on a hands-on role within a supportive and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accounts Preparation: Prepare and review statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Tax Compliance: Handle corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance and assisting clients with queries.
• Client Management: Act as a primary contact for client queries, developing relationships, and providing proactive business advice.
• Team Collaboration: Support junior team members, providing training and guidance to develop their skills and ensure high-quality work.
• Audit Assistance (if applicable): Opportunity to assist in audits for select clients, depending on experience.
Candidate Requirements:
• Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an accountancy practice, with a focus on accounts preparation and client liaison.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with accountancy software (such as Xero, Sage, and IRIS).
