Business Development Manager Wanted!
Our client, a leading healthcare service provider, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Business Development Manager will have experience of healthcare provider service sales within the healthcare sector and will be responsible for increasing the occupancy and working with internal teams to improve, modernise and diversify services.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible covering the South region of the UK and will maximise the occupancy across all services. The Business Development Manager must have a background in the Healthcare Service provider sector and have experience of building relationships with local authorities, councils and healthcare commissioners.
Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:
*Lead feasibility studies and liaise with commissioners to identify opportunities for new areas of business development
*Actively engage, network and build partnering opportunities with internal and external stakeholders
*Lead on negotiations for new developments, fee increases and remodelling of services
*Liaise effectively with key personnel and external organisations
*Monitor tender portals and produce compelling submissions
*Assist the Head of BD in coordinating and implementing the organisation’s overarching business strategy
*Have oversight for the implementation of the CRM system
*Maximise pathway development across the organisation
Skills Required for the Business Development Manager:
*Experience in working in Health and Social sector
*Knowledge of strategy, planning and meeting set objectives
*Degree level or equivalent (Health and Social Care/Business)
*Experience of attending events, conferences and seminars
*Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
*Full UK Driving License
*Hunger and competitiveness
