Join our dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs. We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic people to empower every student to achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role: *Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities.
*Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
*Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
*Support students with personal care needs, if required.
*Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
*Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
*Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
*A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are preferred.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
