Job Description:
Data Engineer - Azure, SQL, SSIS, Cloud Migrations - London 1 day / week
I’m working with an exceptional Data Analytics Consultancy in London to recruit an experienced Data Engineer to join their growing team working on client data transformations. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines leveraging Azure services and on-premises tooling and migrating resources to the Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and optimize complex ETL/ELT workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
*Migrate on-premises data infrastructure and processes to the Azure cloud
*Implement and administer Azure data services like Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics
*Build robust data validation and monitoring systems to ensure data quality and pipeline reliability
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Qualifications:
*3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
*Proficient in designing and developing SSIS packages for data integration
*Extensive knowledge of Azure data services and cloud migration best practices
*Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
*Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and BI reporting
*Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
*Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
