Sector: Special Educational Needs (SEN) School About Us: We are a dedicated SEN school in Leeds, committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment for our students. We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the maintenance and management of school facilities across multiple sites.
*Ensure all buildings and grounds are safe, secure, and well-maintained.
*Coordinate and supervise cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks.
*Manage budgets and resources related to facilities management.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
*Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
*Support the school’s operational needs and events.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in a school facilities or caretaking role.
*Ability to drive and access to a vehicle, as travel between different school sites is required.
*Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
*Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
