Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead electrical aspects of various projects, ensuring all work aligns with industry standards and regulations.
*Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to develop project timelines and detailed plans.
*Manage and support a team of electricians, providing training and guidance as needed.
*Analyze and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
*Oversee procurement of materials and equipment essential for electrical tasks.
*Track project progress, monitor budgets, and manage costs related to electrical work.
*Conduct on-site inspections to verify quality and safety compliance.
*Resolve technical issues efficiently and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
*Stay informed on industry standards and best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
*Background in electrical engineering or relevant field (degree preferred).
*Proven track record in electrical project management, particularly within construction or refurbishment.
*Comprehensive understanding of electrical codes and standards.
*Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
*Skilled at prioritizing tasks in fast-paced settings.
*Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
*Relevant certifications (such as CMIOSH, SMSTS) and experience with electronic estimating systems are beneficial.
