Forklift Driver Counterbalance - Ongoing position
Location: Widnes

We’re currently recruiting an ongoing Forklift Counterbalance Driver for our client based in Widnes, WA8. You’ll be working within the chemical distribution sector, mainly rotating stock and loading & unloading vehicles for delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to efficiently move products and materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers using the forklift
- Ensure inventory accuracy by properly identifying and organizing products in designated storage areas
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance on the forklift, reporting any faults or damages to the supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a secure working environment
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets and ensure smooth workflows
- Complete paperwork and update records related to stock movements and forklift operations
Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance forklift license is essential
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Physical fitness to carry out manual tasks and lift heavy objects when required
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance records
Pay Rate: £11.50 - £12.00 per hour
