Job Description:
Are you an experienced PLC Controls Engineer with Siemens and Allen Bradley expertise (Step 7, TIA Portal, Logix5000).

Duties of a PLC Controls Engineer :
*Drive technical development of intralogistics warehouse automation solutions from concept to completion
*Develop PLC code and processes from scratch for warehouse automation systems
*Collaborate closely with in-house electrical design engineers (Eplan/AutoCAD) during the design phase
*Lead implementation and commissioning phases, ensuring successful deployment
*Oversee project progression through final commissioning to client handover
*Conduct on-site commissioning and support at client locations across the UK, with occasional international assignments
Skills and experience required of a PLC Controls Engineer:
*Experience with conveyor/ASRS systems, barcode integration, WCS/WMS systems
*Familiarity with networks (AS-i, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP)
*Development of PLC code from scratch
*Experience of leading final commissioning through to handover
*Strong understanding of electrical schematics and safety circuits
*Experience in logistics warehousing, distribution centers, or fulfilment, with knowledge of warehouse design and material handling equipment
*Proven ability to create innovative, customer-focused solutions with strong communication skills
*Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-directed team player with high initiative and customer focus
