Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure our client consistently operates in accordance with industry regulations and standards.

*Ensure company policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards.
*Conduct thorough conflict and AML searches on new and existing clients and matters.
*Conduct client screening, sanctions screening, enhanced due diligence monitoring and other compliance research as required.
*Handling queries about client and matter inception, matter security and matter record maintenance.
*Manage and implement ethical walls and maintain relevant logs.
*Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends within the compliance sector.
*Maintain the Terms and Conditions Register and Engagement Letter Register in Intapp Terms.
*Prepare and present reports to the management regarding the company’s compliance status.
*Develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
*Respond to any compliance issues promptly and implement necessary corrective actions.
Profile
A successful Compliance Officer should have:
*Relevant qualifications in law, business, or a related field.
*Proven experience in a similar role within the legal sector.
*Strong knowledge of industry laws and regulations.
*Excellent organisational and report-writing skills.
*Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
*Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
