Job Description:
A client based in London N4 is recruiting for an Interior Designer/Project Manager to join their team, the successful candidate will manage the designs of projects. This role is office based, paying a salary a salary of up to £40,000
Key Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with clients and builders on site, with prompt responses to requests
*Ensure that designs are constantly updated in writing and all changes are documented
*Explain and liaise with builders on design elements and drawings
*Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories for each project
*Identify and address any snags or defects versus designs on-site
*Ensure timely delivery of materials
*Keep the team of designers in the office updated with daily results or changes on sites
Experience:
*Must have previous work experience in a similar role at an Interior Design office.
*Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings
*Ability to update project schedules and budgets
*Experience in purchasing and ordering materials
*Excellent project management skills
*Effective communication skills with clients and team members
*Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Skills:
*Strong and effective communication skills
*Strong Analytical skills
*Intermediate computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office and Photoshop (Revit,
AutoCAD, 3Ds Max would be an advantage but not essential
*Strong pProblem-solving abilities
*Valid driving license
