Temporary HGV Class 1 Driver - Skelmersdale
Workchain is a UK-based recruitment agency that is seeking to hire reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers in Skelmersdale on a temporary basis. Our client is a reputable firm operating in the Driving industry.
Responsibilities:
- As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from the depot to their intended destination.
- You will be expected to assist with loading and unloading the goods from the vehicle, ensuring that they are secured and safe for transport.
- Compliance with all road traffic regulations and health and safety legislation is mandatory in this role.
- You will also be required to maintain accurate records of your driving time, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Qualifications:
- A valid HGV Class 1 driving license is essential for this role.
- You will need to have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience due to insurance.
- Excellent driving skills and a good understanding of road traffic regulations are a must-have.
- Knowledge of the Skelmersdale area is desirable but not essential.
Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this role ranges from £15.00 to £18.00 per hour, depending on experience. Both days and nights are available.
