Job Description:
Vacancy: Credit Controller
Salary: £26,000
Location: Newton-Le-Willows
Our client based in Newton-Le-Willows is currently on the hunt for a credit controller to join the business. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work in a team, working collectively to acheive monthly KPI’s and ensure the ledger is kept to a minimum.
Main Duties:
*Control and manage assigned customer accounts, ensuring Customer payments are received in a timely manner.
*Issue Customer statements and invoices via email
*Make and receive customer telephone calls minimum 20 outbound calls per day
*Reply to Customer emails.
*Assist in the resolution of customer queries to eliminate payment delays.
*Reporting on debtors’ status / overdue accounts
*Maintaining accurate records including Cashflow / Dispute Reports
*Consult with other Centres to deliver a best-in-class service to Customers.
*Assist with general admin duties within department.
*Observe and comply with all company policies and procedures
Knowledge / Skills:
*Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills
*Positive, initiative-taking attitude to collections
*Persistence and determination
*Analytical skills and attention to detail
*Ability to work on own initiative to prioritise workload.
*A team player
*PC literate with experience using SAGE and Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
