Responsibilities as a Supply Teacher:
*Teach and encourage student learning in various classroom settings as directed by the Head Teacher, often with short notice.
*Demonstrate commitment to positive behaviour management and maintain pupil’s health and safety during school activities.
*Attend to administrative and pastoral needs of assigned classes/groups.
*Set challenging yet appropriate tasks, ensuring high levels of student interest and expectations.
*Plan and deliver activities aligned with the National Curriculum, catering to student’s needs and abilities.
*Set, mark, record, and return work following school policies.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification.
*Possession of or willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
*Driving ability preferred due to rural locations.
*Minimum availability of 2 days per week.
*Ability to provide two working references.
