Job Description:
An exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector working a full continental shift pattern (days and nights) in a DIT Department.
The Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for completing visual product inspections using a variety of measuring equipment and NDT testing using hand test equipment.
Main Responsibilities of the Quality Contol Inspector
*Responsible for completing visual product inspections.
*Preparing products for inspection, packaging and dispatch - goods inwards/outwards.
*Loading and unloading of vehicles using overhead cranes and fork-lift trucks.
*Follow SOP’s and QCP’s.
*Support and contribute to the area’s lean assessment process with the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques to maintain and improve the processes within the area.
Key Skills / Experience:
*Previous experience of visual product inspection.
*Experience driving forklift trucks would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
*Strong emphasis on attention to detail.
*Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
*Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
*Ability to work under pressure.
*Ability to follow SOP’s and QCP’s.
The Quality Control Inspector will work 4 on 4 off shifts days and nights
salary 46-47k
