Geography Teacher *Salary: MPR/UPR (Main Pay Range/Upper Pay Range)

We are inviting an exceptional Geography Teacher to join our highly successful and dynamic team. Day to day of the role: *Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons to students aged 11-16.
*Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
*Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
*Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
*Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by school policy.
*Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole school training events.
*Plan and prepare courses and lessons, following the school’s curriculum and teaching guidelines.
*Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes a passion for Geography.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Excellent subject knowledge in Geography.
*Proven ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results.
*Strong organisational and ICT skills.
*Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team and to lead effectively.
*A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire and share this with young people.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
