Job Title: Finance Director (6 month interim role)
Location: Watford
Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 PA
Role Requirements *Prepare accurate and timely management accounts for all operations, with insightful variance analysis and commentary.
*Conduct and review monthly operational balance sheet reconciliations in alignment with policy, collaborating with the Finance Director.
*Deliver consistent, concise Board reporting.
*Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
*Perform financial reporting and analysis, including benchmarking using tools like STR and Hotstats.
Personal Requirements *Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential.
*Evidence of ongoing professional education, such as management development or participation in industry associations, is beneficial.
*Experience in multi-divisional businesses and working with brands.
*Familiarity with hotel and QSR franchise models.
*A proven track record as a Finance Director in hospitality, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in a similar-sized business.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior operational and financial stakeholders.
*Highly commercial, collaborative team player with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
*Demonstrates a commitment to employee development and career progression.
