Job Description:
Electrical Technician *Job Type: Full-time
*Location: Northwest London
*Salary: £15-18 Per Hour
We are seeking an Electrical Technician with a strong background in electrical work and a Level 3 qualification in Electrical. This role is crucial in providing technical support to both staff and students, ensuring a conducive learning environment through effective management of resources and support services.
Day-to-day of the role: *Liaise closely with the Curriculum Manager & Head of Department to ensure support aligns with the needs of the Directorate.
*Prepare materials and apparatus for demonstrations, practical work, and examinations as directed.
*Install, check, and implement new equipment and resources, ensuring their correct operation.
*Manage the care and maintenance of tools and tool stocks, including their issuance and collection from students.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Level 3 qualification in Electrical.
*A Level 2 IT qualification is desirable.
*Excellent interpersonal and team development skills.
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Good IT and administrative skills with the ability to maintain accurate tracking records for tools and equipment.
*Demonstrable experience in using equipment and adhering to safe working practices.
