We are pleased to be working with an excellent, reputable company based in Leeds, City Centre who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This will be a standalone role within the finance team, you will be reporting into the finance manager, but will attend finance meetings to provide reports and updates on the ledger/debt.
Duties will include:
*Chasing payments via telephone and email across all sites
*Performing credit checks for new applicants
*Opening new accounts
*Processing weekly debtor downloads for management meetings
*Raising invoices and credit notes
*Supplier statement reconciliations
*Dealing with insurance claims
*Matching invoices to credits
*Reconciliation of cash and posting to the ledger
*Other adhoc duties
