Hours:
*Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
*Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join a busy team in Newhey, Rochdale, for a temporary 3-week assignment. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in production operations and warehouse work, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Operate machinery and equipment as required.
*Quality checking finished fabrics
*Batching rolls of textiles to requirements
*Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
*Loading and unloading containers within the warehouse
*Use of pedestrian trucks
*Find and resolve any faults that may arise
*Basic machine operating
*Heavy lifting of items up to 25kg
*Handle materials and products efficiently and safely.
*Assist with packing, quality checks, and other general warehouse duties.
*Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
*Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
