Job Description:
An accountancy firm, within easy reach of Belper, Ripley, Derby, Matlock and Ashbourne are seeking to hire an Accountant, for a mixed accounts and tax role, available on either full-time or part-time hours and with generous hybrid working arrangements, with 3 or 4 days home working on offer per week for full-time staff and the same proportion if you are part-time.
OVERVIEW
We have had an excellent new job registered with a friendly, professional and flexible accountancy practice
The job offers hybrid working, which can be offered with up to 3-4 days working from home per week, with 1-2 days office-based. Working hours are hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 12.45pm on a Friday.
The firm are open to either full-time or part-time hours, open, dependent on the person’s preference who is hired.
The work will include:
*Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies including the business tax computations.
*Submission of corporation tax returns to HMRC
*Preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns and submission to HMRC
*Bookkeeping using mainly Xero for a range of clients including preparation of the VAT returns
*Capital gains tax calculations and submission of forms to HMRC
*Possibly preparation of Trust Tax Return
To be considered, you must have relevant experience gained from working in an accountancy practice, with those from Semi-Senior all the way through to Manager level being considered.
