Job Description:
Application Support Analyst - Law Firm - London
Application Support Analyst, providing 2nd and 3rd line IT / Application support with excellent M365, InTune, Mobile Device Management and ideally legal applications is required by a leading law firm in central London. You will be the primary subject matter expert for Microsoft and M365, as well as overseeing the in house legal applications such as Intapp TIME, BigHand, files-sharing and extranet platforms (e.g.: share point, iManage Share, HighQ etc).
Experience required:
- Experience in professional services or law firms would be preferred
- Technical support expertise in O365, Intune, Mobile Device Management NetDocuments, InterAction, Intapp TIME, and other platforms.
- Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory, firewall, VPN, iOS/Android, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP).
- Strong client-service approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritise, manage workload, and multitask effectively.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support and implement Intune, M365, and mobile device management.
- Configure and manage Autopilot, Windows 11, SharePoint, OneDrive, SSO, and application proxies.
- Design and maintain end-user computing devices (e.g., iPads, Surface devices).
- Ensure Microsoft 365’s operational health (security, availability, maintenance).
- Assist in managing Microsoft Exchange, Mimecast security, Teams, and Autopilot.
- Develop onboarding processes and provide feedback for service improvements.
- Stay updated on Microsoft 365 tools and roadmap.
- Conduct monitoring and analysis, including storage and usage reports.
- Own problem management and resolve escalated issues from Ops and Desktop teams.
- Review and recommend end-user technology specifications.
- Lead end-user-focused projects as required.
- Advise fee earners on virtual collaboration tools and document review systems.
This key role ensures the smooth operation of the firm’s software applications and systems, serving as the primary subject matter expert for Microsoft and M365. You’ll work closely with the IT operations team and liaise with third-party service providers to support end-user technology, including Microsoft 365, MDM/Intune, EntraID, and line-of-business applications.
