Job Description:
Working with a fantastic business in the Salford area, I am looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Finance Director, the position of the Finance Manager will oversee the day to day running of the finance function and team in general.
Main duties of the role include:
- Delivering monthly management accounts including analysis and insights
- Ownership of the balance sheet and key reconciliations
- Responsible for weekly accounts
- Overseeing team of two
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
- Continuously improving processes and enhancing reporting systems
- Commercial analysis - improving performance, data analysis utilising BI tools
- Interpret financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to management
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Support SLT where necessary
- Support and develop financial and operational accountants
To be considered for the role you must be a fully qualified Accountant and ideally have experience withing FMCG or Food Manufacturing. Advanced skills on Excel are desirable.
You will need to have strong analytical and planning skills as well as strong technical accounting knowledge. Previous team management and motivation is ideal.
