A Level English Lecturer *Hourly Rate: £25 - £30 including holiday pay
*Location: Nuneaton
*Job Type: Temporary, with potential to go permanent
A college in Nuneaton is seeking a dedicated A Level English Lecturer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis. This role offers the potential for permanency for the right candidate, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vibrant learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role: *Deliver engaging and informative lectures to A Level English students.
*Prepare lesson plans and curriculum materials in line with educational standards.
*Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments and examinations.
*Provide feedback and support to students to aid their academic development.
*Maintain classroom discipline and uphold the college’s academic standards.
*Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *A degree in English or a closely related field.
*A recognised teaching qualification.
*Proven experience in teaching A Level English.
*Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to inspire and motivate students.
