Job Description:
Logistics Systems Manager wanted for a Luxury Retailer

Salary up to £50k + bonus

Location: South East/Surrey/Berkshire

To lead, manage, support and deliver the Warehouse systems strategy and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities:
* To monitor and review customer service standards within the department, that ensure
the efficient resolution of customer / supplier queries.
* To oversee and review the processes and systems that enable the DC’s to operate
efficiently
* To ensure department adherence to security guidelines at all times and issues are
resolved efficiently and effectively
* To identify and develop opportunities for the strategic development of warehousing
operations
* Develop highly effective teams through regular communication methods & by offering
growth opportunities, recognition, rewarding efforts, promoting team work & co-
operation
* Ensure that productivity information is available for the Operations teams to be
able to motivate and manage their teams
* Ensuring that all Company policies & processes are communicated to the team and
are applied as appropriate
* Overview the integrity of the logistics stock files (OSA), through cycle count
schedules, auditing of cartons & stocktaking
* Ensure that all Invoice queries are investigated and a solution is found promptly to
avoid the delay of invoice payment.
* Identifying beneficial efficiencies within Logistics, working with suppliers and
operations to deliver them
* Ensure all delivery discrepancies are processed promptly and results communicated to
the stores
* Slotting/space planning for all areas of the warehouse

Candidate experience needed:
* Experience of leading Logistics Management and Operations.
* Experience of working in Warehouse, and Logistic roles
* Planning & Organisation skills
* Strong Leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with peers and motivate
* Team player with excellent interpersonal and influential skills.
* Excellent PC experience, advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
* Analytically minded, with strong business acumen.
