Credit Controller

Our client is a leading, luxury jewellery wholesaler located in the City of London who are recruiting a Credit Controller with some experience in accounts to join their finance team.

Working alongside the Head of Finance, this is a great opportunity for a candidate seeking an involved role which offers training and career prospects.

Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee and manage the accounts payable and receivable ledgers
-Dealing with supplier and customer inquiries
-Handling the credit control and collections processes
-Proactively following up with customers on overdue payments
-Negotiating payment plans
-Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions and payment statuses
-Preparing reports on outstanding debts, payment trends and collections
-Use of Xero software

Key skills:
-Proven experience in credit control
-Strong communication and negotiation skills
-Proficient in accounting software and skilled in MS Office, particularly Excel
